I've been dying to wear my new Jimmy Choo pumps! I really wanted the shoes to stand out, so I decided to wear all white. Zara  top,  Forever 21 jeans, Aldo clutch.

I love crop tops and pencil skirts! I found this sexy-chic skirt at H&M on a recent shopping trip to Chicago. I paired it with a basic white crop top from American Apparel,  nude pumps from Aldo, and Ray Ban shades.  

I had a Hibachi dinner to attend tonight for a friends B Day. I wore a pair of my favorite jeans by Lucky Brand, An old H&M top, Louboutin pumps and YSL Muse.

Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Cinco de Mayo is usually a fun filled day of bar hopping and eating great Mexican food, however this was not the case today. I hung out with a few friends on U St. in NW.  It was raining heavily and my favorite Mexican restaurant had a very long line/wait in the rain! I ended up eating at Bens Chilli bowl instead. The food was great but not really what I had in mind for Cinco de Mayo!

Finally Spring!

Although the first day of Spring was last month, the weather has not been! The winter just wouldn't leave us alone.  Finally the DMV is getting some warm weather. I hung out with my girls today, and we took full advantage of the sunny weather. I'm finally able to wear sandals again.

I had a lunch date with friends today at the Gaylord National Hotel.  It is a lot warmer than it has been and the sun is finally shining!! The restaurant was casual.  I paired one of my favorite blouses with casual skinny cargo pants and a pair of nude pumps. A perfect mix of dressy and casual!

The National Harbor

 I met up with one of my best friends today at the National Harbor. She took these photos of me to build up her portfolio, as she is beginning  a new career in photography. I really enjoyed being the subject of her shoot! Afterwards, we enjoyed a nice lunch at Public House. 

Its been extremely cold lately!! Today, the temperature was in the teens. Layers were absolutely necessary. I even put on my favorite pair of Patricia Feilds half gloves. They aren't very warm, but they were a nice addition to my casual outfit and better than nothing at all!!
